Design Consulting
Targeted design guidance for individual decisions or moments in a project. Consultations can cover paint and wallpaper, lighting, furnishings, finishes, reupholstery, and other selections where an experienced eye can provide clarity and direction. Consulting provides advice and design direction without project management, procurement, or installation.
Design Only
A complete design plan for your space, from the overall layout to the final selections. We develop the drawings, materials, furnishings, lighting, and sourcing needed to bring the design together — including everything from floor plans and finish selections to furniture, window treatments, and vintage pieces. You handle procurement and implementation.
Full Service Design
The same comprehensive design process as Design Only, carried through procurement, coordination, and installation. Cherin Studio manages the details of bringing the approved design into the world — coordinating vendors and workrooms, tracking orders and custom pieces, overseeing receiving and delivery, and managing installation, styling, and final details.
Both Design Only and Full Service Design begin with the same design process and level of creative direction. The difference is what happens after the design is approved: with Design Only, you or your team handles procurement and implementation; with Full Service Design, Cherin Studio carries the design through execution.
Custom Sourcing
A focused sourcing service for clients looking for a particular piece — or something they haven't found yet. Cherin Studio searches across vintage, antique, contemporary, and trade sources to find furniture, lighting, artwork, and objects with the right character, scale, material, and point of view.

Phase I: Discovery
We begin by understanding your home, how you live, what needs to change, and what you hope to create. We review scope, timeline, and investment parameters, then establish a clear plan for the work.
Phase II: Conceptual Design
We develop the aesthetic and functional direction through inspiration, material palettes, fabrics, finishes, and preliminary plans. This is where the larger vision comes into focus.
Phase III: Design Development
With the concept approved, we refine the details — materials, furnishings, lighting, custom elements, and final plans — bringing each selection together into a cohesive design.
Phase IV: Procurement
For Full Service Design projects, we manage ordering, vendor communication, production tracking, receiving, and coordination through the execution phase.
Phase V: Installation
Once construction and preparation are complete, furnishings, lighting, artwork, and final layers are installed and styled to bring the design together.
